It’s Sleeping Giant Loppet time – March 7th
Once again, I seek your sponsorship in support of Cedar Bay and your confidence that I will finish the 20 Km in record time again this year (Note: ‘record’ does not mean fastest time, recently each year has been a record for WORST time). People have been very generous and have made donations already without my asking – so I am again beholden to do this caper yet one more time in hopes that I do not do disgrace to Sioux Lookout.
Your generous donations in the last 2 years were dedicated to the building of the beautiful Pavilion you see at the Stable. This year’s proceeds will go directly to putting lights and electrical outlets into the structure. My goal is $2,000.
Yes, I know, every year I have yet another excuse for my steadily increasing time to finish – too cold to practice, bad wax..blah blah blah…While finishing in 2 hours used to be my goal, all I want now is to finish (3 hours will do), and hopefully not last.
